Sabelle Breer Frasca is a multi-platinum, award-winning songwriter, recording artist, producer, and creative executive with over thirty years of experience in the music industry.
Accredited with launching the careers of notable 2000’s recording artists Avril Lavigne, Ryan Cabrera, and Stacy Orrico, Sabelle’s work includes 10 Top 40 Billboard hits and appears on albums and compilations with combined sales reaching 100 million. Genres include Pop, R&B, Alt Pop/Rock, Hip-hop and Children’s music. Her theme “Supernova Girl” for Disney’s ZENON: Girl of the 21st Century is just one of many songs featured on Film & TV soundtracks spanning decades, including Halloween, Prom Night, Boy Meets World, The Hills, and Vampire Diaries.
Sabelle has enjoyed successful co-publishing partnerships with Polygram/Universal, Chrysalis Music, Verse Music Publishing, and Verse Music Group/BMG. Notable awards include Parents’ Choice (Children’s Music), ASCAP & BMI (Pop), Dove (Contemporary Christian), Songwriter Hall of Fame (New Songwriter), and CRIA diamond, RIAA multi-platinum and gold certifications.
As co-founder of NY/LA-based independent music publishing company Verse Music Publishing in 2006 and acquisition-based global IP management company Verse Music Group in 2010, Sabelle’s focus was both on the development of new songwriters/recording artists and the reimagining of new material for VMG’s iconic labels. In 2015, having amassed over 50,000 copyrights including Jennifer Lopez, Nina Simone, and Golden Records, Verse Music Group was acquired by BMG.
Sabelle’s own career as a recording artist took her from Tommy Boy Records (1993) to The Work Group/Sony Records (1995). Early days spent as a session vocalist, Sabelle’s voice is featured in Radio/TV campaigns for Macy’s and Trident and on many classic albums, notably Donna Summer and Hip-hop artists LL Cool J and Naughty by Nature.
University education includes NYU Circle in the Square/SEHNAP (theater) and The Mannes College of Music (voice, theory, piano).
